Florida Future Educator’s Association

We are the F.F.E.A. [Florida Future Educator’s Association] club here at Mainland.  F.F.E.A. is a club that acts as a continuation of an educational system committed to producing productive individuals. It gives high school students an opportunity to broaden their knowledge of the educational profession. The F.F.E.A. is an inspirational program that encourages competent students to strive to achieve their goals. This club also provides essential knowledge and experience that develops qualities important in the student’s quest to succeed in not just the pursuit of the educational field, but the student’s schooling as well.
Our F.F.E.A. is proud to say that we will be participating in the State Conference in St. Petersburg in January! We are competing in these areas:
Display Board, Lesson Plan, Essay, Speech, Power Point, and Cheer.
In February we will go on a field trip to Westside Elementary wherein the students will shadow a teacher for a day.  This is the second year we will participate in this fun and exciting field trip.
F.F.E.A. meets on Wednesdays after school in Ms. Crawford’s room, 2-335.  We are always looking for new members so feel free to come to a meeting any Wednesday after school.
